PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office said a convicted felon was arrested on Tuesday after reportedly stealing a gun from his roommate.

Deputies said they responded to a home near the 67000 block of East Highway 50 after a man reported that his roommate stole two of his rifles. Deputies said they arrived to find the suspect, 39-year-old Brian Feltner, sitting in a vehicle outside of the home.

According to deputies, Feltner began to drive off, but they were able to stop the vehicle. They said Feltner was taken into custody at gunpoint.

Inside the vehicle, deputies said they could see a rifle matching the description of one of the rifles reportedly stolen from the roommate. They said Feltner admitted to taking the rifle as “collateral.”
