Sheridan, Ark. (KATV) — Sheridan police officer Melanie Espinosa and her sister, Ashlee Espinosa, are facing a long road to recovery after being involved in a car accident. The sisters will both need multiple surgical procedures.

According to a Facebook post made by the Sheridan Police Department, the Punishers Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club will host a fundraiser to help the Espinosa family with medical expenses.

Stepping up to assist the Southeast Arkansas chapter are a host of businesses, as well as Walmart of Sheridan and Malvern.

Those businesses include Uncle Henry's BBQ, Tango Mike Coffee Company, The Chilly Pig, Buds and Bows, magnolia Social, Platinum Roofing, LLC, SamSon Autoworks, LDL Creations, LLC, and El Parian "Chino."
