PADUCAH, Ky. (KFVS) - Paducah Police say a 13-year-old girl was injured when she tried to cross Lone Oak Road on June 5 just before noon.

Officers say the teen paused in the center turn lane, causing traffic in one lane to stop.

Investigators say traffic in the right lane didn’t stop, and the teen was hit when she entered that lane of traffic.

The teen was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and eventually airlifted to an out-of-state hospital.
