INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Holocaust survivors were recognized at a luncheon held at the JCC’s Laikin Auditorium honoring Holocaust survivors. The event, organized by the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis and Jewish Family Services, was in celebration of Holocaust Survivor Day.
Holocaust Survivor Day, celebrated annually on June 4, was started three years ago by the Jewish Community Center in Krakow, Poland. This is the second year Jewish Family Services has hosted the event.
