A SWAT team was called out Wednesday night to help arrest a Harrison Township man who authorities say was intoxicated and had barricaded himself at a home after threatening another person.
According to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, the incident started about 10:18 p.m. when deputies were dispatched to the 27000 block of Riviera Street in the Crocker Boulevard-Jefferson Avenue area to respond to a complaint about a disorderly person.
“The suspect, a 41-year-old male from Harrison Township was allegedly intoxicated, destructive, and threatened to shoot the caller,” deputies said in a news release.
According to the release, when they arrived, deputies were told the suspect was inside the residence with the caller’s juvenile son.
