One person is dead after a crash between two Sedans and a pickup truck Wednesday night. Austin Police Department officers responded to the crash at the intersection of East Ben White Service Rd. Westbound and East Riverside Dr. around 9 p.m.

According to police, the driver and a passenger traveling in one of the sedans were transported to a local hospital.

The driver was eventually pronounced deceased and was identified as 66-year-old Lisa Gail Cooper.

All other occupants involved in the collision either sustained minor injuries or were not injured.

This is an ongoing investigation, and is being investigated as Austin’s 38th fatal crash of the year, resulting in 42 fatalities. On the date of this crash last year, there had been 33 fatal that crashes resulted in 34 deaths.
