Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy has been accused of lying about his height by social media detectives who have gone out searching for telling photos and coming back with a few.

Portnoy has generated another news cycle after going off on one of his employees at Barstool, having disrespected and insulted Kirk Minihane during an argument about antisemitism and jokes about Jews.

The 48-year-old’s antics may have triggered an investigation into his height , and he’s now being accused of lying about it, given that Google lists him at 5ft 10in while he appears much shorter in photos, especially as he gets up on his toes for some of them.
