CLEVELAND (WJW) -- A judge in Houston is being asked to decide if Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson must take part in another deposition for a lawsuit filed in 2022 by a woman accusing him of sexual misconduct.
Watson’s attorneys have called the case, which was filed in October 2022, “totally frivolous.”
Watson’s attorneys filed a motion Monday in Harris County District Court saying Watson should not have to be deposed again because the time for discovery is closed.
“Plaintiff’s Motion to Compel Mr. Watson’s deposition should be denied for another reason: he has already been deposed,” the motion states. “Plaintiff fails to mention this first deposition in her Motion at all, much less provide any just
