BROOKLINE, Mass. —

A newly renovated multi-family home in Brookline is offering free stays to families who travel to the Boston area because a loved one needs treatment for cancer.

The home is called Nick’s House, named after Nick Colleluori, who was diagnosed with a form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma at the age of 19.

At the time, his mother, Cheryl, said he was living his dream, playing division one lacrosse at Hofstra University.

"Nick was the type of guy where he said, ‘I want to do something about this,’ (so) we started brainstorming," she said.
