CLIVE, Iowa —

Authorities say they've arrested a man in connection to a bomb threat Thursday at a metro health center.

The threat was reported at MercyOne Clinic in Clive. Staff and patients were evacuated while authorities responded to the scene.

Authorities did a sweep of the building and brought in a K-9 unit. Nothing was found, according to investigators.

Staff and patients began returning to the facility in at around 1:30 p.m.

According to a news release from the Clive Police Department, 59-year-old Kevin L. Sanders, of West Des Moines, has been charged with misdemeanor harassment.
