(KTLA) – Discount grocery chain ALDI has announced that it is slashing prices on more than 400 products across all 2,400 of its U.S. stores – a move it says will save shoppers $100 million over the summer months.

"With price drops on the season's most-loved products in every aisle, we want to do what we can to help shoppers enjoy more of summer," said CEO Jason Hart in a statement. "It's another way we're doubling down on our commitment to help shoppers fill their carts with great products for less."

Customers will notice lower prices on roughly 25% of ALDI's products, including fresh meat, organic produce, snacks, and other favorites, the company said.
