FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- A California-based pizza chain with hundreds of locations across the west coast is making its way to Northern Virginia.

Mountain Mike's Pizza, a family-style pizza chain known for its 20-inch mountain-sized pizzas and curly pepperonis, is set to open three locations in Fairfax and Loudoun counties, the company said. The expansion will make Virginia the second state on the East Coast to have a Mountain Mike's, trailing behind Florida.
