RICHMOND, Va. -- For the first time in program history, behind 14 seniors, the Monacan High School boys lacrosse team has secured a spot in the state tournament. The Chiefs will play Meridan this Friday at 6 p.m. in Falls Church.
Head Coach David Deck has been at the forefront of the Chiefs' historic run, and to see his team take this step is extra special. "Oh, it's more than special, I've never been around a group of young men that has been closer than this group," Deck remarked. "That's part of the joy of being around these guys."
