CHARLES TOWN — A group of walkers organized by Charles Town Now gathers twice a month to walk and socialize.

Dubbed “Walks About Nothing,” the group fluctuates in size depending upon time availability. The group that met Wednesday evening, according to Liz Cook, who leads the outings, was the largest number of people yet who have joined in. The numbers could definitely have resulted in the town’s Public Outdoor Designated Area (PODA) district kick-off date, with the catchy name of the “Hip Sips District.”
