HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) - A 33-year-old man is in the Forrest County Jail after being charged with nine counts of auto burglary.

Sidney Ray “Baby Diddy” Bonner was arrested without incident earlier this week by the Hattiesburg Police Department.

HPD said Bonner was connected to a string of auto burglaries committed over the past two weeks.

Bonner saw bond set at 7,000 on each burglary count. He also had a previous bond on weapons possession by a felon revoked.

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be forthcoming, HPD said.
