AUSTIN (KXAN) — Game 2 of the Women's College World Series finals will have to wait on Mother Nature.
Lightning and storms in the Oklahoma City area will delay the game between the Texas Longhorns and Texas Tech Red Raiders. KXAN's Noah Gross is at Devon Park, and officials told him the game will not start before 7:45 p.m. CDT at the earliest. The game was originally set to begin at 7 p.m.
KXAN Chief Meteorologist Nick Bannin said around 5:30 p.m. that the storms in the area will stick around for about another 60-90 minutes.
