OKLAHOMA CITY - A line of thunderstorms rolling across Central Oklahoma will delay the game two start of the Women's College World Series finals until at least 7:45 p.m., NCAA officials confirmed Thursday.

Gates are expected to open at 7 p.m., and 7:45 would be the earliest time for the first pitch between Texas softball and Texas Tech, NCAA officials said.

Texas leads the best-of-three series 1-0 after a dramatic 2-1 game one win Wednesday. If Texas Tech wins Thursday, the teams would play the decisive game three Friday at 7 p.m. Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle.
