MUNCY, Pa. — What used to be the home of Best Buy near the former Lycoming Mall in Muncy Township will soon be home to Bass Pro Shops.

The wilderness retailer currently only has one store in Pennsylvania — located in Harrisburg. The branch planned in Muncy Township is one of a handful coming to Pennsylvania.

"This'll be somewhere just over 100 for them that'll be their fourth store here in Pennsylvania that they'll be building," said Jason Fink, CEO and President of the Williamsport Lycoming Chamber of Commerce.

Fink said bringing a Bass Pro Shop to the Lycoming County area has been two years in the making.

No two shops are the same, he said. The one built here in Muncy Township will be unique.
