The man who died in a recent boating accident at Lake Pueblo has been identified, according to the Pueblo County Coroner's Office.

The body of Derrick Vigil was recovered Saturday after a nearly 23-hour search.

Vigil, 28, went missing May 30 after his boat capsized amid high winds in Boggs Creek Cove, on the south side of Lake Pueblo, officials said. Vigil was fishing with two other people, who were able to swim to shore. No one in the boat was wearing a life vest, according to Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials.

The Coroner's Office said Vigil drowned.

His body was recovered around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
