RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - The companion of a missing pet zebra in Tennessee has been relocated to horse stables in Rutherford County.
Mandy Motes of Circle M Stables says they were contacted by owners earlier this week, and asked if they can take the zebra’s companion in, so the owners can focus on the search.
“I’d help anybody, client or otherwise, that’s just the way of the South,” Mandy Motes explained. “I’m just helping a friend out, that’s all I’m doing.”
The zebra has not been seen since last Saturday.
Video posted to social media showed the animal on the Interstate 24 and in neighborhoods across Rutherford County.
