WESTON, W.Va. (WV News) — A stolen 2024 Jeep Wagoneer was recovered and a suspect apprehended Thursday afternoon after a high-speed chase through downtown Weston, according to Lewis County Sheriff Mickey Metz's press release.
The incident began when the Lewis County Sheriff's Office was alerted by the Harrison County 911 Center about a stolen vehicle reported from the lot of Black Bear Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM in Harrison County.
The suspect, a white male wearing a hat and camouflage jacket with red marker stripes on his arm, had allegedly taken the vehicle—a 2024 Jeep Wagoneer with no registration plate.
