LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Little Free Pantries of Lincoln is putting donated goods up for sale to help support the organization and a local Scout troop.
“It goes a long ways; it helps a lot of people,” said Chris Booe, host of little free pantry Bill’s Locker on Lenox.
The name-your-price rummage sale started Thursday and will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at 4115 Lenox Ave.
Part of the money raised will be going toward the pantries’ application to become a recognized nonprofit organization in Lincoln.
The sale will also raise money for the Capitol View Seventh-day Adventist Pathfinder Scouts.
The rummage sale is also taking place during the Witherbee neighborhood garage sales, with around 16 garage sales happening in the area.
