A mural depicting Laker legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna, both of whom died in a 2020 helicopter crash in Calabasas, has been vandalized with graffiti again, just days after it was restored from a previous graffiti attack.

The mural, titled "Mambas Forever," is on the side of a building at the corner of 14th and Main streets, the work of artist Sloe Motions, whose real name is Louie Palsino.

In April, somebody painted graffiti over much of the artwork. Palsino created a GoFundMe page to cover the costs of repairing the mural. Lakers star Luka Doncic quickly donated the full $5,000 amount needed for the work.

Palsino took weeks repairing the mural, and had it restored to its original look by late May.
