Travis Air Force Base will be conducting a readiness exercise starting Sunday and running through June 14.

According to a news release by the base, exercises fine-tune and advance Airmen’s readiness and ability to execute and sustain rapid global mobility around the world.

The base said that local populous and surrounding communities may hear an increase in voice notifications and alarms and there may be an increase in aircraft activity and noise.

Additionally, patrons may experience increased gate entry times during periods throughout the day.
