VIDOR, Texas — A Vidor man will spend more than 15 years in federal prison for child pornography after thousands of disturbing images were uncovered in a Southeast Texas child exploitation case that began with a single CyberTip .
David Dwane Parker was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison on both counts of transporting child pornography, to be served concurrently, following an investigation that revealed more than 34,000 images of children on his electronic devices.
The Vidor Police Department began investigating Parker in April 2024 after receiving a CyberTip claiming a user had uploaded more than 1,600 images that could be child pornography.
The tip led Homeland Security, Vidor police and Orange County deputies to an even larger discovery.
