STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WHTM) – Penn State's 2025 transfer portal class will play a crucial role in the Nittany Lions' pursuit of a second straight College Football Playoff appearance.

No additions may be more important than the trio of veteran wide receivers James Franklin and offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki brought to Happy Valley.

"The first thing you notice for guys," Kotelnicki said, "is what is their internal drive to want to improve? How hungry are they to seek feedback, to want to get in the playbook? There's limitations on how much we can give them this time of year, but again, you see the hunger, those guys want to improve and their desire to grow and get better."
