Nobody injured after partial building collapse in downtown Waterloo
WATERLOO, Iowa (KWWL) -- The former Waterloo Candy Co. building along West Park Avenue in downtown Waterloo partially collapsed on Thursday.
Authorities do not know exactly what caused the collapse. The building in question is well over 100 years old, being constructed in the early 1900s.
Nobody is injured following the partial collapse, and there is also nobody missing or unaccounted for.
The Waterloo Fire Department is reminding people to keep their distance from the building, as it still could collapse further.
