BEMIDJI, Minn. — A woman was arrested Thursday following an early morning fire at a Bemidji home.

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office said the blaze began just before 3 a.m. at a house on the 500 block of Theatre Lane Northwest. When deputies arrived, they found two people who say they evacuated the home after they realized it was on fire.

Fire investigators said the fire appeared to have been set intentionally, and a woman was later taken into custody without incident. According to the sheriff's office, the case is being reviewed by the Beltrami County Attorney's Office.
