After surviving — and even thriving — during Saturday Night Live’s landmark 50th season, several cast members from NBC’s iconic sketch-comedy show are looking at increasingly promising career futures. Whether those paths will keep them on SNL, however, remains uncertain.
And while veteran SNL stars Bowen Yang, Chloe Fineman, Ego Nwodim and Heidi Gardner weren’t showing their hands just yet, each shared hints with Gold Derby about where the road ahead might take them as they attended an FYC event for the show at the Television Academy’s Saban Theater (alongside relative SNL newcomers James Austin Johnson and Sarah Sherman).
All four seasoned performers enjoyed triumphant runs during the show’s golden anniversary season, while also making notable breakthroughs both on and off the screen. Y
