CINCINNATI (WKRC) — Doctors at St. Elizabeth Healthcare were utilizing a groundbreaking method in wound healing that has proven life-changing for one patient.

Terry Williams, who faced the possibility of losing half his leg after part of his foot was removed due to an infection, credits the innovative treatment with saving his limb.

"The vascular doctor told me I was going to lose half my leg," said Williams.

However, his prognosis changed dramatically after meeting Dr. Greg Worley.

"Doctor Worley said, 'we're gonna save it,' and he did," said Williams.
