ROCKFORD (WREX) — With the school year winding down, Eisenhower Middle School 8th grader Allison Stibal is taking a victory lap. She was named the Athlete of the Meet at the IESA state track and field meet after winning the long jump, finishing 2nd in high jump and 5th in both the 100 and 200 meter dashes. She's put in a lot of hard work to reach this point, and she's passing on some lessons to her younger teammates at Eisenhower.

"To always push yourself and never give up because if you push yourself, you'll end up in great places," Stibal said. "It means a lot. It's definitely a great way to end my middle school career."

She'll move onto Guilford High School next year to run with her older sister. She also plans on doing cheerleading and maybe even flag football. Her athletic ability i
