COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The Colorado Springs Police Department said they were called out to an armed robbery on Thursday just before 7 a.m. at a convenience store at North Union and Dublin Boulevard.

Police said when they arrived, they learned the suspect had threatened the employee with a weapon and stolen tobacco and vape products.

Police said the suspect, 19-year-old Jabez Martin, and a woman then fled the store in a dark SUV.

Members of the robbery unit then responded, and police said they found Martin’s car at a home off West Fountain Boulevard.

An arrest warrant was acquired for Martin, and search warrants were obtained for his home and vehicle. Police said Martin was then arrested by CSPD’s Tactical Enforcement Unit and K-9 Unit.
