(KYMA, KECY) - President Donald Trump and Elon Musk had a public feud posted through social media Thursday afternoon, where Musk accused the president of being in the Epstein files.
President Trump was asked Thursday morning about Elon Musk's criticism of the "big, beautiful bill," which focused on tax cuts.
Musk, formally of the Department of Government Efficiency, stated the bill spends too much.
Trump said Musk was opposed to the bill because it would have eliminated electric vehicle tax credits, which Musk has business in.
"He had no problem with it. All of a sudden he had a problem, and he only developed the problem when he found out that we're going to have to cut the EV mandate," said President Trump in an interview.
