On the lower Columbia River from Rocky Point/Tongue Point line upstream to Bonneville Dam there were 272 salmonid boats and 157 Washington bank rods tallied on the May 24 flight count.

Salmon/Steelhead

Section 1 (Bonneville) — 230 bank anglers kept 23 Chinook, 10 jacks, and released five Chinook; one boat/three rods had no catch.

Section 2 (Camas/Washougal) — 14 bank anglers had no catch; 34 boats/63 rods kept six Chinook, one jack and released four Chinook.

Section 3 (I-5 Area) — Nine bank anglers had no catch; one boat/two rods had no catch.

Section 4 (Vancouver) — 57 bank anglers kept two Chinook and released one Chinook; 48 boats/103 rods kept 13 Chinook, three jacks and released six Chinook, one jack and one steelhead.
