CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Lunken Airport is offering a unique opportunity to experience a piece of history up close this weekend.
A historic World War II aircraft, the C-47 Skytrain known as "That's All Brother," will be on display for public viewing. This iconic plane played a crucial role during the war, having dropped paratroopers behind enemy lines ahead of the D-Day landings.
Visitors can tour the aircraft from Friday through Sunday, with the option to purchase a ride. Additionally, a special ceremony is scheduled for Saturday at 12:30 p.m. to honor the 101st Airborne veterans who bravely jumped into occupied Normandy the night before D-Day.
Admission to the event is $10.
