BUFFALO — There’s a two-minute stretch of hockey from when Michael Misa was 11 years old.
It’s burned into the memory of everyone who saw it.
Misa’s team, the Mississauga Steelheads, was defending a five-on-three against the Ottawa Jr. 67’s toward the end of a game they were leading.
Nathan Villeneuve, Ottawa’s best player who would later go two picks after Misa in the OHL draft, kept loading up slap shots.
