FLOYD COUNTY, Iowa —
Authorities have released the name of the person killed in a crash between a motorcycle and semi-truck in northern Iowa.
According to an Iowa State Patrol crash report, a semi-truck was traveling eastbound on U.S. Highway 18 just north of Charles City at around 9:10 a.m. Wednesday. A motorcycle pulled out in front of the semi and was hit.
The motorcycle rider, identified now as Ruby May Golnick, 66, of Garner, died at the scene. The semi-truck driver was not hurt, according to state troopers.
