VINTON, Ohio (WSAZ) - A 14-year-old has been killed in an ATV crash in Vinton, Ohio.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the crash happened near the intersection of Rowlesville Road and Morgan Center Road just before 6 p.m. Thursday.

Troopers say Lucas Clonch, of Vinton, was traveling south on Rowlesville Road on an ATV when he went off the roadway, hit an embankment, and flipped.

Troopers say the teen was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The road was closed for a couple of hours, but is now open.

The crash is still under investigation.
