MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said Thursday that the Transportation Security Administration will be ending its Quiet Skies program.
The move comes one day after News 9 reported that, according to DHS, U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen's husband, William, was put on a watchlist under the program in 2023.
Noem published a video on X announcing the plans to end the program.
"The Trump Administration will return TSA to its true mission of being laser focused on the safety and the security of traveling public," she said. "This includes restoring the integrity, the privacy and the equal application of the law for all Americans."
