A 26-year-old man is accused of breaking into the Olanta Pharmacy and stealing drugs and money, according to the Florence County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to an alarm call at the North Jones Road pharmacy at 3:22 a.m. May 31.
They found the glass front door was broken. Also, the medicine safe was broken into and an undetermined amount of controlled substances were stolen.
Shykeem Ravone Cooper of 136 Jones Circle, Bishopville, was taken into custody Monday and charged with:
■ Second-degree burglary
■ Safecracking
■ Theft of controlled substances
■ Possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute
■ Possession of burglary tools
■ Conspiracy
