A place where people usually go to let off some steam was destroyed in a crash in Volusia County.
"That freaks me out. It could’ve been my store, because we’ve had four other incidents in this area," said Randy Pepper, owner of the Guitar Attic.
His store is just off Ridgewood Avenue, north of Flomich Street, only a few doors down from Smash It Rage Room.
The Holly Hill police chief told WESH that a 40-year-old driver who smelled of alcohol crashed into the rage room around 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say the driver was heading northbound on Ridgewood Avenue when he veered into the shopping center’s parking lot and slammed into the building. He managed to break through a brick wall, nearly bursting through the other side.
