BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle crash on I-75 in Wood County Thursday night.
According to OSHP, the crash occurred on southbound I-75 near milepost 181 in Bowling Green around 7:48 p.m.
Investigators stated a 26-year-old man from Lima, Ohio, was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu south on the interstate when he traveled off the right side of the road and struck a ditch.
Authorities believe the man was not wearing his safety belt at the time of the crash, sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. The man was transported by EMS to a local hospital.
OSHP wants to remind motorists to slow down during adverse weather and buckle up before hitting the road.
