GREEN COUNTY, Wis. (WKOW) -- Green County officials say they are notifying people whose information may have been accessed during a data security incident.

County officials say they recently discovered that an unauthorized party gained access to their network environment, according to a notice posted on the county's website .

After a forensic investigation and a manual document review, it was determined that on May 19, personal information may have been accessed or acquired by an unauthorized party between February 2, 2025 and February 4, 2025. The information that was accessed may have included individual’s first and last name, address, date of birth, Social Security number, state identification number/driver’s license number, bank account information, and/or health information.
