HOOVER, Ala. —

Hoover residents need to be aware of a water outage planned for Thursday night, according to the Birmingham Water Works.

BWW officials say the outage will allow BWW crews to replace two valves and a 10-foot section of eight-inch water main. The project is part of BWW’s capital infrastructure improvement plan. Work is expected to be completed and water service restored by 7 a.m. Friday, June 6. The outage will impact approximately 370 service connections (water meters).
