CHEYENNE — Pride isn’t just a month or an event, it’s a movement.

The event is only in its third year, but the goal has remained steadfast since year one, according to Stuart “Stu” Campbell, one of the directors of Pride Cheyenne.

The development of Pride Cheyenne stemmed from their goal to create a free, self-sustaining and reoccurring street festival for Cheyenne and the surrounding area that celebrates the city’s diversity and inclusive community, all while spreading awareness.

Although the family-friendly street festival is their biggest effort of the year, the nonprofit also organizes Pride events year-round like karaoke nights, pub crawls, drag shows and socials.
