SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — After it was reported that two travelers who visited Utah had measles, Utah Health and Human Services said they have a plan in place to address this if any residents contract the virus.
Health and Human Services said 90% of Utahns are vaccinated against measles. They also said vaccination is the key to individual protection.
"Most of us have very little to worry about," Dr. Leisha Nolen, a Utah state epidemiologist, said. "The vaccine we get when we were really little still works."
