KELLER, Texas — Keller ISD will soon be under new leadership.
The Tarrant County school district's board voted Thursday to name Dr. Cory Wilson as the lone finalist for the vacant superintendent position. Wilson has been serving as interim superintendent since Tracy Johnson resigned in February following a controversial plan to split the district .
Wilson is taking the helm at a time of instability for Keller ISD. The proposal to split the district sparked a TEA investigation , lawsuits , the resignation of its former superintendent and appeals to state lawmakers to make district splits harder in the future.
