Bob Moran, owner of the Titans Baseball Club and Upper Deck Sports Center in Amsterdam, spent eight years saving up to build his own field, eventually realizing it was not in the cards for him.

Instead, he decided to invest in the overgrown and rundown field he and his friends used to play on at 86 N. Pawling St. and restore it to its natural glory, to account for the rise in baseball in Hagaman.
