The Fort Novosel-Wiregrass Chapter of the Association of the U.S. Army recently awarded $18,200 in scholarships to 15 students throughout the Wiregrass area. These students were recognized for their academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to their communities.

Through these scholarships, the local AUSA chapter hopes to empower students to pursue their academic ambitions and succeed in higher education.

Of the 15 recipients, two students were awarded a scholarship established in honor of someone recognized for their community service. The winner of the Mark Jones $2,000 scholarship was Manning Fox from Brantley High School.
