BURLINGTON, Conn. — As the weather gets warmer, Connecticut residents will be turning to their air conditioners to stay cool.

However, there are ongoing supply chain issues that could impact their AC units.

With the official start to summer right around the corner, air conditioners will be running almost regularly around the state.

This has HVAC companies like Mountain Top Mechanical in Burlington plenty busy, as they repair units and address homes.

Mountain Top Mechanical owner Eric Dreher says companies are also facing a new federal mandate on a new coolant to use in AC units, which is changing the cooling game.
